A taste of Kenya Culture Evening

BANN Maine West were delighted to host a Kenyan evening on Thursday 14th November as part of a series of Exploring Other Culture events in partnership with the Inter Ethnic Forum, funded through Triangle Housing, at the Maine Business Centre, Cullybackey.

Attendees enjoyed hearing from Evelyn, Florence and Linner from originally from Kenya, who spoke about the Country, culture and food.

They also enjoyed a fantastic array of food including soup, stew and sweet treats.

Joanne Brown Kerr, Bann Maine West, commented: “This project is such an interesting one as each month we find out more about a different culture, enjoy tasting some food and always come away learning something new.
