World Champ again!

PARKER Bonnes won the recent ‘Champion of Champions’ World title at Lough Erne.

The Ballymena lad, pictured left with his award, was at one stage five shots behind the leader going into the last day.

But he pulled off a miraculous run of form to win the Championship by one shot from German Julius Gellermann.

Parker was in against 250 competitors from 40 different countries.

The ace young golfer was competing a year young in the World event - enabling him to take part in that age group again in 2024.

Ex-Ballykeel Primary School

Parker, a former Ballykeel Primary School who starts Cambridge House in September, has been invited to play in a competition in Venice.

The young lad is a member of Galgorm Castle Golf Club.
