Super six off to South Africa

THATCH Clay Target Club has presented sponsorship to six of their members who qualified to represent NIreland at the World DTL Championships being held in South Africa.

The Championships are being held at Valley CTC, Paarl, in Western Cape.

The shooters going to the competition trip of a life time are -

Seniors: Gary Conaughty (Kells)

Super/Vet: J.P. Smyth (Belfast)

Juniors:Cody Brady (Moorfields)

Juniors:Mark Hunter (Kells)

Ladies: Steph Porter (Antrim)

Ladies:Katie McQuillan (Cargan)

Twenty-year-old Cody Brady who has represented NI DTL/ABT teams since he was 16, will captain the Junior team.

Katie McQuillan, a former European Ladies gold medalist and who represented NI at the last World Championships out in Australia in 2018 will Captain the Ladies team .
