Two arrests in sexual assault investigation

Police say two men have been arrested in connection with an alleged sexual assault involving a 13-year-old girl in Ballymena.

The arrests relate to an incident is reported on Saturday 2May 24, , in the Ballykeel area of the town

In a statement police said: “Detectives investigating the report of a sexual assault of a teenage girl in the Ballykeel area on Saturday, May 24th, have arrested two men aged in their 30s. They remain in custody at this time, assisting with enquiries.”
