TWO girls from the Glenravel area have raised vital funds for the Angel Wishes charity.
Cora, aged 9, and her friend Bella, aged 10, held a fundraising stall selling handmade crochets bracelets along with plenty of sweets and light up bracelets.
Angel Wishes is delighted to have received £267.75 from the stall sales and £32.25 from Glenravel Community Group.
Cora and Bella presented Angel Wishes with their total amounting to an amazing £300.
Marian Maguire, on behalf of Glenravel and District Community and Residents’ Association said: “We, the committee, are very proud of Cora and Bella.
“It’s great to see two young people with caring hearts.”
Angel Wishes is a registered charity set up in 2016 which support all children throughout Northern Ireland with cancer related conditions.
Angel Wishes is run purely by volunteers with 100% of all donations going directly back into supporting children and their families and providing wonderful moments throughout their entire journey.
“Without the generosity of people like yourselves we would be unable to help our families throughout one of the hardest times of their lives,” the group says.
