Ballymena Business Centre’s 2025 AGM marked a momentous occasion, recognising the outstanding contribution of Founding Director and Company Chairperson PJ McAvoy.

His commitment since 1990 has played a pivotal role in establishing Ballymena Business Centre as one of Northern Ireland’s leading Local Enterprise Agencies.

Best wishes were extended by Company Directors and Executive Team to PJ McAvoy who was appointed as Honorary Chairperson of the organisation.

The AGM also welcomed the appointment of James Perry MBE DL as Company Chairperson and Audrey Wales MBE as Company Vice Chairperson.

Under their leadership, the Centre will continue to drive economic growth, enterprise and regeneration in Ballymena and the Mid and East Antrim area.

Ballymena Business Centre Strategy 2022–2026 remains at the core of its mission, working in partnership with local and regional economic stakeholders to explore innovative economic solutions in the local area.

Plans to enhance manufacturing infrastructure at Woodside Industrial Estate and further investment in the Town Centre demonstrate the Centre’s commitment to support both industry and the creative sector.

Under the leadership of Chief Executive Melanie Christie-Boyle MBE and the Executive Team, Ballymena Business Centre is poised for an exhilarating 2025.

With a steadfast commitment to charitable and social objectives solidifying Ballymena's status as an entrepreneurial destination for many years to come.
