Go fund me page for badly injured Chris Faloon is launched

A Ballymena family have launched an urgent appeal to raise funds after local man Chris Faloon was severely injured while on holiday in Portugal.

Chris, a civil servant in NI and formerly a swimming lifeguard went to Portugal last week with his children and parents and brother.

The Galgorm Road man jumped into pool on Sunday and seriously fractured his neck and spine.

His young children saved his life when they saw him lifeless in the pool. He is now in Faro hospital in the intensive care ward awaiting surgery.

Due to issues with the Holiday Insurance firm the family have started a go fund me page to help Chris at this crucial time.
