THE Alternative Medicine Theatre are full steam ahead preparing for their Christmas pantomime, ‘Once Upon a Time in Pantoland’.

The production will take place in The Braid Arts Centre on December 1, 2 and 3, at 7.30pm.

There will be a 1.30pm matinee show on December 3.

The play was written by Alex Jackson and directed by Sarah Irvine.

Plot

Dame Tallulah Tickle runs the local joke shop in Pantoland with her children Tommy and Tilly.

But when the Spirit of Pantoland gets kidnapped by the nasty witch Mouldywart, not even the Tickles can get the citizens of Pantoland laughing.

Can PC Pete help the Tickles save the day? Will a visit to the Fairy Grandmother give them the answers they seek? Will the characters of Pantoland ever get their happy ever laughter?

This is the ultimate pantomime mash-up with much loved characters, and all your favourite pantomime traditions wrapped up in a completely original fairytale.

The main characters are - Dame Tiffany Tickle played by Steven Andrews; Comedy character Tommy Tickle played by Matthew Irvine; Tilly Tickle - Megan Morrison; Prince Harry - Christopher O’Neill; Mouldywart (baddie) - Kate Agnew and her sidekick Snitch played by Megan Mills; Spirit of Pantomime - Sarah Irvine; King Charming - Idris Morrow and PC Pete - Sam Logan.

Tickets cost £10 for adults with a concession charge of £6.

Tickets are available from The Braid by contacting 028 256 35077 or visiting www.thebraid.com
