LITTLE Lewis Hazlett continues to impress in the Ninja Kart series.
His latest honour was taking victory in the recent Ninja Kart National Championship at Hednesford.
The young driver - he had his 9th birthday back in June - took second and seventh placings in the Heats before going on to out drive the 29-strong opposition in the final.
The Groggan Primary School pupil can now add the National to the coveted World title and the Northern Ireland Points one.
And the talented racer has also been selected for the major meeting in South Africa at the end of next month.
At the weekend he came close to clinching the Golden Helmet title at Tullyroan.
He led for most of the race but his plan for glory ended after getting caught up with backmarker.
He finished runner-up.
Lewis thanks his mum and dad, and sponsors and friends, for their most valuable backing.
