Black belt for Katie!

Ten year old Katie Mc Allister has achieved her ambition by winning her Shodan-Ko Black Belt.

Katie is a member of Portglenone Chujo Karate club and has been practising karate for the past 5 years. She attends St John Bosco Primary School Ballynease. Her future aspiration is to study and qualify to become a Marine Vet. Leading up to her Black Belt examination she had been attending training at her own club in Portglenone Community Centre and also having extra sessions at Ballymoney Joey Dunlop LC Chujo karate club.

The examiner for her Black belt test was Mr Iain Abernethy 7th Dan BCA. Chujo Association Chief coach Sensei Dan Redmond said he is delighted for Katie's well deserved success.
