VETERAN Ballymena Guardian photographer, Robert Wallace, passed away in the early hours of Wednesday morning (April 3).

He had been ill for some time.

Robert had been employed at the Guardian for some 30 years and was well known throughout Ballymena and the surrounding district.

A full tribute to Robert will appear in next week’s Ballymena Guardian where he will always be remembered as a dedicated lensman who thoroughly enjoyed chronicling the lives and times of the entire community.

Robert will be sorely missed by his work colleagues and many friends.

Our deepest sympathy to his entire family circle at this sad time.
