Detectives are appealing for information following a report of an attempted burglary at premises at the Ballymena Road area of Portglenone in the early hours of Sunday, March 24.
Detective Sergeant Robinson said: “Shortly before 2:40am, it was reported that an attempt was made to gain entry to a building in the area.
“Nothing was taken during the incident, with entry believed to have been gained into a shed in the area.
“Enquiries are continuing and we would appeal to anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area to contact detectives on 101, quoting reference number 236 24/3/19. Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.”
