Police probe Glarryford burglary

POLICE are appealing for information after a report of a burglary at residential premises at the Kildowney Hill area of Glarryford on Tuesday December 11.

Detective Constable Douglas said: “Sometime between 11am and 12pm, it was reported that two unknown males entered a house in the area. It is believed that a sum of money was taken during the incident. No one was inside the house at the time.

“One of the males is described as 5”9 height, stocky build, aged in his late 20’s with black hair. He was wearing a dark coloured bomber style jacket and blue jeans.

“The second man is described as being of 5”9 in height, slim build and was wearing a light blue and grey hooded top with blue jeans. He is described as having dirty fair, short hair.

“Enquiries are continuing and we would appeal to anyone with any information to contact detectives on 101, quoting reference number 538 11/12/18. Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.”
