BALLYMENA’S CRUK committee members and supporters braved the freezing cold weather on Friday, November 2, 2018 and collected £1500.50.

The group would like to thank to the enormous generosity of all the shoppers who were out and about.

The treasurer had the task of collecting the heavy boxes after every shift.

One of the members Dorothy Hegan lost her husband 21 years ago to Pancreatic Cancer and joined the committee a few years later so that she could help fight this awful disease.

Over the years, she has worked tirelessly to raise much needed funds and loves nothing better than chatting to people while helping to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.
