DEREK Ryan will breeze into the Tullyglass House Hotel on Saturday night fortified by a number of outstanding performances embracing the past month.

From sharing a stage with Ronan Keating in Limerick and playing to a capacity crowd at the world-famous Match-Making Festival in Lisdoonvarna to headlining the spectacular Farmers’ Bash at the SSE Arena in Belfast, Derek has been conquering new horizons as a matter of course.

Yet the hugely popular Carlow singer takes it all in his stride. He will return to the Tullyglass Hotel on the crest of a wave, his recent achievements embellished by the fact that ‘Honey honey’, the duet he has just recorded with Lisa McHugh, soared straight to the top of the country charts.

It’s yet another feather in the cap of this outrageously gifted entertainer whose talent seems boundless. Nonetheless his feet remain firmly planted on the ground as he continues to chart a steady path through the Irish entertainment scene.

His return to the Tullyglass House Hotel has aroused tremendous excitement not just in the Ballymena area but much wider afield with hundreds of dancers expected to descend on the venue.

Derek is particularly looking forward to returning to the venue for two reasons.

“I always enjoy the warmth and the hospitality there and I also love to see the dancers enjoy themselves in the manner that they do,” says Derek, “There is an unbelievable atmosphere and we are certainly looking forward to putting our best foot forward at the venue. Obviously we will be performing a wide range of material and we certainly hope that we can provide something for everyone.”

Derek’s appearance will certainly maintain the sequence of top-class acts which have been appearing at the Tullyglass Hotel in what should prove a memorable night of dancing.

Doors will open at 9.00 with Derek and his band on stage at 11.00.
