ANOTHER week with some good results for the Northend sides, with undoubtly performance of the week going to Uel Magill’s U15s in their excellent 4-3 win over high-flying Irish league Academy side, Warrenpoint Town in the Daily Mirror Lisburn Junior League.

Northend got a quick goal througfh Carter Reid, then missed a penalty.

Oxford extended their advantage. Substitute Daniel Patterson pulled another goal back for Northend

Northend went ahead on 11 minutes throuigh Kai Barr. Warrenpoint equalsied before Callum McCann struck home a sweet half-volley. Half-time 2-1

Northend scored their third, Owen Campbell hooking the loose ball over his shoulder and into goal. Owen Campbell added Northend’s fourth on 22 minutes.

Warrenpoint showed great character to pulling back two goals. Full-time 4-3

Swifts went in front before adding a second.

Esler’s low cross was squeezed in at the near post by Ryan Mark, then Esler scored the equaliser.
