A TABLE Quiz which raised £600 was held recently in memory of Caroline Campbell who established Ballymena Fibromyalgia Support Group 10 years ago.

Caroline suffered from the condition and sadly passed away in 2018 very suddenly. The committee wanted to do something to remember Caroline by and came up with the idea of having an annual pub quiz with half of the proceeds going to a local charity.

Caroline always went out of her way to help others even though she was not very well at times and would never turn anyone away, taking phone calls from people in distress or needing reassurance at all hours.

The first quiz in her memory was held in The Front Page Bar which was very well supported by local businesses and participants.

DONATIONS

A grand total of £600 was raised through quiz, raffle and auction of items.

£300 has been donated to Turning Point NI charity and it will now be an annual event.

Ballymena Fibromyalgia Support Group meet in Ballykeel Business Centre on the second Thursday of each month, from 7.15pm-9pm, with new members welcome.
