Council considers 'Tennis for Free' at People's Park

Thursday, 15 February 2018

MID and East Antrim Borough Council is proposing to introduce 'Tennis for Free' at the People's Park in Ballymena.
The initiative will run for one year and there will be free of charge tennis court facilities at the People's Park to facilitate it.
Details of the proposals were presented to a last month's meeting of council's Operational Committee.
The report explains that 'Tennis for Free' is a charity which was established in 2004 with the primary goal of utilising underused 'Park Tennis Courts' whilst getting more people from local communities involved in tennis.
