INSPIRATIONAL defender Rebekah Reynolds was crowned 'Player of the Year' and 'Players' Player of the Year' as Ballymena United Allstars Ladies Football Club toasted the end of their season.
More than 130 people gathered at Tullygalss House Hotel for the biggest celebration in the Club's history - a testament to the growth and development of the Club.
Special guests, David Jeffrey, Ballymena United manager, and John Taggart, Ballymena United Chairman, joined players from the Senior and Junior sections of the team, as well as coaches, parents and supporters.
In a difficult season for the Sky Blues in the Dankse Bank Women's Premiership, players and coaches alike recognised the dedication and determination of Reynolds.
Assistant coach Trevor Boyce said: "Rebekah is the player who you know will give her all in every minute of every match, who will fight for every ball and whose 'never say die' attitude shines through. She inspires not only her team mates on the pitch, but is a fantastic role model for our players across the junior section".
Double winner Rebekah said she was absolutely delighted to have won these awards.
“I am very proud to play for my home town club with such a fantastic bunch of girls. To be able to celebrate with them makes this night all the more special and we are looking forward to next season's challenges already," she said.
