Ballymena record second League win of season

BALLYMENA First XV recorded their second UBL win of the season in a hard fought encounter at Naas, coming out on top 19-13.
The only scores in the first 15 minutes were a penalty for each side, Ballymena's three points being kicked by Brett Herron, who controlled the game beautifully all day.
After a succession of attacks Naas scored a converted try to put them 10-3 in the lead, but another Herron penalty and a try by Rodger McBurney, converted by Herron, gave Ballymena a 13-10 lead, which is how it stood at half time.
Ballymena's try was the result of a clever delayed pass by Herron and a great run by McBurney, who spotted the gap and scythed through the Naas at pace to score near the posts defence.
