DONNA Service hopes to hit top form in this week's World Ladies tournament in Japan, writes Shaun O'Neill.
The 42-year-old from Ballee, in Ballymena, is on the Northern Ireland team bidding for glory.
It will be her first international cap - and she admits to being excited and nervous making her debut on the World stage.
“But I cannot wait for the competition to commence," Donna told Guardian Sport prior to jetting out to Japan at the weekend.
The NI Ladies will be mixing it with the best from Australia, Bahamas, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Mongolia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Republic of Ireland, Russia, South Africa, South Korea, Sweden, Switzerland, the USA and host country Japan.
