BALLYMENA Bowling Club's Ladies President, Megan Wilson, competes this week in the European Team Championships.
The 23-year-old will be representing Ireland in the tournament in Jersey.
Teams are made up of four players.
Megan teams up with Catherine Beattie (Ewarts), Mark Wilson (Cookstown) and Andrew Kyle (Larne).
There will be 16 competing teams (Cyprus, England, France, Germany, Guernsey, Hungary, Ireland, Isle of Man, Israel, Jersey, Netherlands, Scotland, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey and Wales), each of four players.
The teams will be drawn into two groups of eight teams playing in Ladies Pairs, Mens Pairs and Mixed Fours disciplines.
Play goes on all week - finishing on Friday.
Megan, a full-time Psychiatric Nurse, been began playing indoor bowls when she was just six!
She played with her family for West Church before moving to Michelin a few years ago - and has helped them win many titles.
Megan started playing outdoor bowls 10 years ago and joined Ballymena Bowling Club. In 2012 she was selected to represent the Association in the Inter Association Championships and has played for them every year since.
Megan got her first taste of International bowls in 2008 when she played for the Irish Under 25 Ladies team, made her
Last year she had the honour of being named Captain of the Under 25 team.
Megan, who has three Irish Under-25 Ladies Pairs titles, made her debut for the Senior Irish Ladies in Wales in June this year.
