THERE was a good turn out of golfers for the Charity Day sponsored by Robinson's NISA Extra held at Galgorm Castle Golf Club.
All holes were sponsored by various businesses with some holes having two sponsors. Donations were also very welcome. Charities benefitting from the day were Ballymena Spina Bifida Association, Angel Wishes and Lets Talk Crohn's and Colitis Northern Ireland.
At halfway Michael Burton (18) held a one point advantage from Vincent Miskelly (4) who was a further point ahead of Wilson McVeigh (7), Norman Nicholl (9) and Tony Quinn (21). Through The Maple Miskelly emerged as the new leader by a point from McVeigh and Nicholl.
