No Mercy thumbnailBallymena United centre-half Kyle Owens: intends showing no mercy tonight (Tuesday) against Knockbreda. GB35Kyle Owens

KYLE Owens will show absolutely no mercy to his former club Knockbreda in tonight's (Tuesday) Bet McClean League Cup second round clash at the Showgrounds (7.45pm).
The 25-year-old Ballymena United centre-half stresses he is in it to win it when the visitors come to town.
“My aim is to help United to victory, securing our place in the next round draw," outlined the big Ballysillan man.
Tonight's game sees Ballymena commence the defence of their trophy, won earlier this year after a 2-0 victory over Carrick Rangers in the final at Seaview.
Owens spent one-and-a-half seasons at Knockbreda before being snapped up by Premier club, Ballymena United.
And what a job he has been doing for the Sky Blues.
His step up from Championship 1 to the top flight has been smooth.
