New ‘keeper coming!

Thursday, 27 July 2017

A NEW goal-keeper is on David Jeffrey's wanted list, writes Shaun O'Neill.
The Ballymena United manager told Guardian Sport he is keen to strengthen this part of his squad.
“ I would like to strengthen the goal keeping area and bring a level of competition into this part of my team," outlined Jeffrey.
At present Ballymena have the experienced Ross Glendinning between the sticks.
Back-up are promising young duo, Ben McCauley and Tom Hegan - both eager to stamp their mark on the Sky Blue scene.
Tim Allen, who had a few months with United, made his cameo appearance against Odds-BK in the Europa League clash at Seaview, replacing Glendinning with just a couple of minutes to go.
Ballymena boss Jeffrey wants competition throughout ALL of his side.
If you play well, you hold your place, - if you don't you are replaced!
Simple as that.
