DUNLOY continued their unbeaten run in the Antrim senior hurling league after their short trip to neighbours Cloughmills.
It ended 1-28 to 0-11 with the outcome never in any doubt. With five wins and two draws to their credit, Dunloy look as if they are going places while the Ct Brigids side are finding life at the top table rather difficult as they still await their first league point. Level at seven each at the end of the first quarter, early indications were that the home side would make a game of it but following Ally Dooeys twentieth minute goal things went pear shape for the St Brigid's side.
Dunloy raced to a 1-15 to 0-7 interval lead at which stage this game was over. Points flowed from the sticks Nicky McKeague, Michael Murphy Ally Dooey and Phelim Molloy as James Doherty, Michael Devlin and Damien Gillan did all in their power to keep in touch.
The one way traffic continued in the second half with all Dunloys usual suspects in the thick of it. Dooey ended top scorer on 1-6 with Nicky McKeague on five and Conal Cunning four with Devlin, Gillan and Aaron Smilie adding four for Cloughmills.
