TWO Ballymena RFC players are named on the Ireland squad for the upcoming Summer Tour to the United States and Japan!
They are second-row Kieran Treadwell and centre, Luke Marshall.
The duo are part of the 31 man Ireland squad named by the Ireland coaching group for the three Test summer tour.
Ballymena RFC head coach, Andy Graham, said he is very pleased Treadwell and Marshall have been called up.
Early last season 21-year-old Treadwell played for the Eaton Park side in the opening few All Ireland Division 1B League encounters - before being called up for Ulster!
“Kieran made great progreession," Ballymena coach Graham told Guardian Sport. "I wish him, and Luke, well on Tour."
Ireland's first game of the Summer Tour takes place against the US Eagles at the Red Bull Arena in New Jersey on Saturday, June 10.
