TEMPLEPATRICK based F2 racer Gordy McKee continued his excellent start to the new Stock Car season with a final win at Ballymena Raceway on Friday evening.
He has recorded more race wins than any other F2 driver so far in 2017 and added another victory to his collection with a polished win in the opening heat race.
Paul Crooks registered his first ever race win at the Ballymena oval after a flag to flag success in heat two, before McKee returned to winning ways in the final for his second win of the night.
McKee's successful run will see him promoted into the superstar grade for the next meeting. Antrim's Ryan McCrory chased the winner home in the final, which was the opening round of the Teng Tools Series for the F2s, with Irish Champion Christopher Kincaid in third.
