McCambley Cup champions! thumbnailBallymena Fourths celebrate after winning the McCambley Cup final against Ballymoney Fourths at the Kingspan Stadium on Saturday! GB17McCambley

BALLYMENA 4th XV are the newly crowned McCambley Cup champions following their 16-14 victory over neighbours Ballymoney 4th XV at Kingspan Stadium at the weekend!
Coach Peter Crabbe was delighted with his side's showing against the Cup holders in a game which was tied 9-9 after normal time.
In extra time John Nicholl scored a try which Davy O'Hara converted.
David Watson scored a late try for Ballymoney, but the conversion was missed.
''We're obviously delighted with the win. The boys gave 100% and left nothing on the pitch. It's a shame that one team has to lose a game like that. It literally came down to the bounce of a ball and had that happened to us, we would be gutted," Crabbe told Guardian Sport.
"Ballymoney proved what a well organised and talented team they are and both teams certainly earned and deserved each other's respect.''
Ballymena's captain Davy Laughlin said they had to dig deep for the win.
“I think we just about deserved it. The belief and desire to win that our team has, makes us a very difficult team to beat,'' he said.
