BPFA B and Maine crowned champions!

DIVISIONS Two and Three took centre stage last week as the final round of fixtures decided the destination of the league winners' trophies.
Division Three was first to be concluded with all the matches taking place on Monday night. Top billing was the game between 1st Ballymena and Maine. 1st went into the game leading the table by half a point from their visitors.
Undeterred, the Randalstown side chalked up two first half wins through P Heffron and B Magill which saw them leapfrog the hosts. D McQuitty pulled one back for the home side but P Kerr's single shot victory over L McQuitty ensured Maine of four points and the third division title.
All Saints were mathematically still in the frame for the title going into their away game at West Church. At the half way stage, they were still in the frame thanks to victories for N Mitchell and E McReynolds.
After the break, both teams registered one victory each. T Wilson recorded a three shot win against S Haveron whilst A Mitchell scored a 12 - 10 win over M Livingstone.
The other match featured Round Tower and Services B and it was the leagues form team, Round Tower who reeled off their sixth straight victory. G Campbell and G Coulter shared 14 shots in a low scoring game. Thereafter, wins for H Totten, J O'Kane and M Teer gave the Antrim side 4.5 points which gave them 23 points from their final six games.
