FOUR Ballymena Institute of Mixed Martial Arts fighters will be part of the greatest fight night ever staged in Belfast!
They are Norman Parke, Andy Young, Rhys McKee and Glenn Irvine.
The quartet are involved in the the big BAMMA promotion on Friday night in the SSE Arena - which boasts the fight card of the decade.
“MMA fight fans have been praying for a fight card like this for years," Rodney Moore, head coach at Ballymena IMMA gym, told Guardian Sport.
“And there is no better place to hold it than the biggest and best venue in the country."
Ex-fighter Moore said he is delighted to have four of his best fighters competing on the show.
“Out of our quartet, three are fighting for titles - two for World and one for a British," Moore told Guardian Sport.
And he revealed that he had to order another emergency batch of tickets to keep up with the demand and last rush of people looking them.
“Ballymena is going to be very, very quiet on Friday night," quipped Moore. "The following and support has been unreal as usual. We as a club are completely overwhelmed every time."
Fight preparations have been going great, everyone is on point and on weight.
The main event features Stormin' Norman Parke v Paul 'Redzer' Redmond, from Team Ryano, Dublin.
