All aboard! thumbnailAll aboard! Translink Route Manager, Veronica McKinney, Andy McQuilkin, Translink Customer Services Co-Ordinator, and John Taggart, Ballymena United Chairman, at the launch of the Sky Blue Express train transport for United fans to the League Cup final

BALLYMENA United fans will travel in style to next month's League Cup final at Seaview!
Translink are providing a special train for the day - and it is hoped up to 600 supporters will avail of the the service.
Andy McQuilkin, a life-long Ballymena United fan, and Customer Services Co-Ordinator with Translink in Ballymena, is the man behind the Sky Blue Express!
He admits "the six weeks planning" , and "a lot of hard work" organising the train will be well worth it if the United fans turnout in force and make use of it!
“This is the third time I have organised a special train for Ballymena fans, the other times being 2014 and 2015. Both attracted a 600 sell-out turnout. Families seem to enjoy the novelty of travelling by train to the show-piece final. It's usually the mum who does all the ticket bookings!," he said.
United fans will be able to buy tickets at the Translink office in Ballymena.
Andy expects a busy time - but he is more than happy to help out ensuring David Jeffrey's side has the large fan following travelling in comfort to the Shore Road venue.
Times and ticket prices will be released later this week.
