CULLYBACKEY man Peter Bremner finished third in the recent Ireland's Strongest Man live qualifier!
This was the fifth Dave Warner organsied show he competed in.
“Training is my passion and early in 2015 I turned it into a full time job running and owning, along with my partner Denise, Squad Fitness, a gym in East Belfast," he told Guardian Sport.
“I've competed successfully in body-building but Strongman is an entirely different ball game. To finish up as the 3rd strongest man in Ireland means more to me than any of my accomplishments so far."
He thanked Denise for managing his training - and food intake!
“I just lift the heavy stuff," quipped Peter.
He also thanked McAtamneys Meats (Thomas Street, Ballymena) for helping him out every week with my food supply.
"Thanks also go to my Dad, Mum and brother for being at every competition. They are my biggest supporters so it's nice to do them proud," he said.
Special mention also went to John Martin and the guys from Peak Physique Gym in the town who came up to support him.
“ They have done so since my bodybuilding days. For me this is only the beginning of an adventure which I plan to take as far as possible," concluded Bremner.
