United book place in February final

BALLYMENA United will play Carrick Rangers in the final of the Northern Ireland League Cup on February 18 next year!
David Jeffery's Sky Blues booked their spot last Tuesday night, after knocking 'derby' rivals Coleraine out in the semi-final at the Showgrounds.
It was scoreless after 90 minutes - but in extra time United made the breakthrough, Tony Kane firing them in front from the penalty spot - his 10th successive score from the spot!
Striker Cathair Friel added a second before substitute Darren Henderson headed home goal of the game to send the big home fan following into raptures.
It was a closely contested Cup tie.
There were a few chances in the first half, United 'keeper Ross Glendinning saving well from Rodney Brown and at the other end Kane letting fly from distance, but Chris Johns was equal to the effort.
Early in the second half Johnny McMurray tested Johns, then Friel poked an effort wide of the mark.
Rodney Brown had an effort clip the bar as Coleraine worked to win the tie.
Almost on the full whistle James McLaughlin almost nicked it for the Bannsiders, but his close range blaster was well saved by Glendinning.
Five minutes into extra time Ballymena went in front. Danger man Friel was brought down by Steven Douglas, and Referee Evan Boyce pointed to the spot.
Coleraine were not convinced the foul was inside the box!
Kane scored from the spot - 1-0.
