Ulster A v Cardiff Blues at Eaton Park

Thursday, 8 December 2016

ULSTER 'A' take on Cardiff Blues at Eaton Park, Ballymena, on Friday night (7pm).
It should be a entertaining encounter, and organisers are hoping spectators turnout in force to view the clash.
Head coach at Eaton Park, Andy Graham, said he is hopeful some of his players will feature with the Ulster side.
“Everyone at Ballymena RFC is delighted to be hosting the Ulster 'A' v Cardiff Blues game," said Graham, whose side played very well against League leaders Buccaneers in the All Ireland League match at home on Saturday.
Despite leading 13-3 at half time the men from the Braid ended up losing 18-13, in a game in which they lost No. 12 Mark Best after just a couple of minutes following an incident with the Buccaneers captain!
Best, who may well have featured in the Ulster 'A' side on Friday night, was taken to hospital .
But the good news is the scans came back all clear.
Meanwhile, last year Eaton Park hosted Ulster and Cardiff Blues.
After what was a most successful occasion it was decided the top notch venue would be used again.
