United hope itís third time lucky

DAVID Jeffrey hopes it is third time lucky this weekend against Ards, writes Shaun O'Neill.
The County Down side have beaten Ballymena United twice already this season - 4-3 in the Premiership and 2-1 last week in the quarter-final of the County Antrim Shield.
Now United boss Jeffrey is preparing to bring Ards' winning sequence over his Skhy Blues to an end this weekend in Bangor (3pm).
On Saturday past United kicked their two-game losing run into touch - by handing out a 4-0 hiding to Ballinamallard United.
Striker Johnny Murray bagged two, Cathair Friel and Denver Gage got the others.
United looked sharp and their finishing was clinical.
Manager Jeffrey was delighted - the home fans were happy. Jeffrey said his aim is to build a culture at United where they don't get themselves built up for so called glamour games and then don't turn up for the less glamour ones!
He said against Ards in last week's Shield tie United possibly thought that given their exploits over the past couple of months they would not have to work as hard or do the basics as they did in previous games.
