World qualifying series at Raceway thumbnailChris Foster’s National Hot Rod on display at the recent Ballymena Car Fest. The Cullybackey racer is set to make his debut in the opening World qualifier at Ballymena Raceway on Friday evening.

CHRIS Foster from Cullybackey is set to make his first appearance in the elite National Hot Rod class when Ballymena Raceway hosts the opening round of the 2010/11 World Qualifying Series on Friday evening (July 23).
Foster, a former Irish Champion in the Group Two Lightning Rod class at Raceway, purchased a car over the winter months and totally rebuilt the machine in preparation for his debut.
The stunning Turtles of Rathkenny Peugeot 206cc was on display at the recent Ballymena Car Fest and is now ready to hit the track for the first time.
The number of World Final places allocated to Northern Ireland has been reduced this time around from six to five, so the qualifying campaign is sure to be as keenly contested as ever.
