‘Worst losses in years’ thumbnailBallymena United officials at the recent Annual General Meeting in the Social Club.

BALLYMENA United made a loss of £107,000 last season - the largest amount in years!
Club auditor, former Chairman Edwin McLaughlin, of DT Carson and Co., Thomas Street, Ballymena, said it was a tremendously bad year for United.
“The club could not afford another financial year like this," Mr. McLaughlin told last week's United Annual General Meeting in the Ballymena Social Club.
Mr. McLaughlin said it has been "a very difficult year for the club."
“The supporters have a lot to thank those who run the club for in keeping United afloat," the auditor told the 50-plus share-holders who attended the AGM.
