IF your neighbour's dog is driving you 'barking' mad - you're not alone, as Mid and East Antrim Borough Council received 213 complaints regarding domestic animal noise in 2017.
Noisy neighbours also topped the poll with 62 complaints of domestic noise including loud music, TVs and parties as well as 48 complaints of domestic noise falling into the 'other' category.
DIY enthusiasts came under fire with eight complaints while six reports relating to house alarms were logged.
In fact, out of  the 395 total complaints received, domestic noise was the biggest culprit, coming in with a whopping 337 reports.
However, Mid and East Antrim Borough Council noted no increase in the number of complaints over the recent Christmas and New Year period.
Noise in the street also proved a bug bear for some residents, with road works attracting three complaints, ice-cream chimes receiving two, street trading and children playing in the street receiving one complaint each, with 'other' noise and antisocial behaviour each receiving three.
