THERE was good news at Braidside Integrated Primary School last week, with the announcement that a contractor has been appointed to construct the new school on the Frys Road, Ballymena.
Glasgiven Contracts Ltd, received confirmation of their appointment last month and are keen to get started on the project.
For more than two years, work has been progressing steadily to develop a design for the new school, to achieve planning permission and to go through the tender release process.
With these early stages now complete, the school is tremendously excited at the prospect of construction commencing on the site in 2018.
