FIGHTER Andy Young defends his World BAMMA title this Friday night in Dublin!
The Ballymena Institute of Mixed Martial Arts club member takes on current British BAMMA champion, Daniel Barez in the 3 Arena.
“Andy defends against top Spanish challenger with the winner unifying the BAMMA flyweight division," outlined Ballymena IMMA head coach, Rodney Moore.
Coach Moore is confident Young will do the business on Friday evening at the BAMMA/Bellator promotion.
To win the World title 25-year-old Young turned in the performance of a lifetime against the hottest UK prospect on the circuit, Dominique Wooding.
Young was constantly in his face, always attacking and working his dirty boxing from the Clinch grinding and chipping away at the very confident and cocky Englishman.
He broke him physically and mentally, then took him to the floor in 2 minutes 47 seconds in the 3rd round.
