THE annual Ballymena Runners' 5 Mile Road Race and Fun Run takes place on Wednesday (June 7), starting at 7pm!
The ever popular event is expected to attract 400 athletes of all abilities in what is one of the big community events of the local running calendar.
All finishers will be presented with a commemorative medal while there are mugs available for the first 300 runners registered.
Also, in addition to the main event there is a 2.5-mile Fun Run, which offers spot prizes for those taking part.
Costing 12 for the Road Race and 5 for the Fun Run, it couldn't be easier to enter.
Forms are available from the Visitor Information Centre at the Braid Centre, JD Sport, Sports Direct and O'Brien's.
You can also register on the night, from 5pm, at 1st Ballymena Presbyterian Church Hall on Meetinghouse Lane up to half-an-hour before the start of the race.
The event starts at the corner of Church Street/Mill Street and finishes back at Church Street.
Fun Run entrants do one lap and follow the same course as the main event.
If you're not taking part, why not come along to spectate and lend your support to some of the finest runners the town (and beyond!) has to offer.
For more information on any aspect of the night visit the Ballymena Runners website, www.ballymenarunners.org.
The club thank the Fairhill Centre and Montgomery's, Ballymoney Street for their ongoing support.
