Charity Fight Night
Thursday, 9 March 2017
FRIDAY'S White Collar fight night in Tullyglass House Hotel, in Ballymena, will raise thousands of pounds for Northern Ireland Children's Hospice!
Main organiser, George Courtney, told Guardian Sport that 1,300 tickets have been sold - and 100 more are still available.
There will be 18 bouts in the fund raising evening - two of which will be exhibition.
Former World WBO boxing champion Eamonn Loughran and Olympic medalist Gerry Hamill will be judges at the show.
The main event features Danny Brown, from Ahoghill, and Karol Dlugosz, from Young Spartans, in Ballymoney.
Ciaran Butler tangles with Scott Bruce, of Randalstown, and Alan Moore, from Cullybackey, takes on Terry Foster, from Ballymena.
Moore is current top ticket seller - selling over 100 for the fight evening.
Young fighters Dillan Robinson, Corey Higgins, Jude Convey and Aaron Buick are also on the card.
Female fighters are also taking to the ring - all for the fund raising cause. They are Linday Hyndman v Brogan Devlin and Catherine McBride v Anne McBride.
“It should be a great night's entertainment," organiser George told Guardian Sport.
