WALLACE'S will open a new refurbished/reconfigerated store in Church Street/Wellington Street in the town later in the year!
The Ballymena business has bought the former Poundstretcher premises adjacent to Bryan Street - and work is currently underway on the project. This first Phase in the new store will feature men's wear and footwear on the ground floor, ladies fashions still on the first floor and schoolwear on the second floor.
Plans for Phase 2 include a restaurant which will bring a few more jobs to the town centre.
Jonathan Wallace, of Wallace's in Church Street, told the Guardian the new-look store will bring a new shopping experience to the town.
And he was quick to thank the hard-working staff at the existing store for their very valuable input as they prepare to switch to the new surroundings.
He said their loyal legion of customers who travel from all over the Province to shop with them will be equally as welcome in the new-look store.
