Three men sent to prison for stabbing teenager at house party

Thursday, 1 December 2016

THREE men have been jailed for their roles in a vicious attack on their 16-year-old "friend" which left him with a three centimetre stab wound to his upper thigh.
Kurtis Millar (21), from Ballymena, was sentenced to three years in prison with one year and six months to be served in custody and the rest on licence.
David Fletcher (21) and John Fletcher (21), who have an address in Tandragee, were sentenced to two years and six months in prison with one year to be served in custody and the rest on licence.
The court heard the young man who was attacked turned up at Antrim Area hospital on February 27, 2015 at 7:10am with a stab wound to his thigh.
The laceration required six stitches and around 20 minutes after he was admitted to hospital police received an anonymous phone call saying someone had been stabbed in the Ballycraigy area of Antrim.
It was later found the call was made from David Fletcher's mobile phone.
Antrim Crown Court heard the three men were at a house party in Ballycraigy along with the complainant.
